This Privacy Policy complies with Egyptian Law No. 151 of 2020 on the Protection of Personal Data and its executive regulations.

- Business information (store name, address, tax ID)
- Usage data (how you interact with our platform)
- Device information (browser type, IP address)
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Develop new features and functionality
- Communicate with you about updates and support
- Protect against fraud and unauthorized access
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. Your data is stored on secure servers in Egypt.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. After account closure, we retain data for 90 days before permanent deletion, unless Egyptian law or tax requirements mandate a longer period.
- Account and store data: duration of subscription + 90 days
- Transaction and invoice data: 5 years (as required by Egyptian tax law)
- Customer data: per each store's policy; you may request deletion at any time
Your Rights Under Law 151 of 2020
Under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data held by us
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your personal data (right to be forgotten)
- Export your data in a portable, machine-readable format
- Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
- Withdraw your consent at any time without affecting prior processing
To request deletion of your data or exercise any of these rights, contact us via the email or WhatsApp listed at the bottom of this page. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to operate our platform. These cookies are necessary for authentication, security, and basic functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for payment processing and analytics. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
Sub-processors
We rely on the following sub-processors to deliver the service. Cross-border transfers are protected by each sub-processor’s standard Data Processing Agreement plus standard contractual clauses where applicable.
- Cloudflare — object storage (R2), CDN, WAF. Data crosses borders.
- Meta — WhatsApp Cloud API and Conversions API (hashed PII only). Data crosses borders.
- TikTok — Events API (hashed PII only). Data crosses borders.
- Google — Ads conversion API (hashed PII only). Data crosses borders.
- Paymob — payment gateway (Egyptian CBE-licensed). Stays in Egypt.
- Kashier — payment gateway (Egyptian CBE-licensed). Stays in Egypt.
- Bosta — shipping carrier (Egyptian). Stays in Egypt.
- Sentry — error monitoring (EU region). PII redacted.
Exercising your rights
- Right of access (Article 6): download a JSON export of all your personal data from the “Data export” button in your account settings.
- Right to erasure (Article 7): use the “Erase my account” option in your account settings. Tax invoices are retained for 5 years as required by Egyptian tax law (Article 9 exception); your personal identifiers on those invoices are replaced with “Erased customer”.

Compliance with Egyptian Laws
This platform operates in compliance with Egyptian legislation governing data protection, cybersecurity, and consumer rights:
- Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 — guarantees buyers' rights to returns, refunds, and accurate information
- Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 — regulates the collection, processing, storage, and deletion of personal data
- Egyptian Anti-Cyber Crime Law No. 175 of 2018 — criminalizes hacking, electronic fraud, and privacy violations
Automated Decision-Making (Store Health Score)
The platform uses an automated system to periodically calculate a "Store Health Score" based on objective indicators including: payment status, store activity, user engagement, and data quality. This system may automatically suspend an account without direct human intervention under the conditions described in the Suspension Policy. You have the right to contest this decision and request a human review by contacting us.
